Your assumption is correct but I am not excited by the prospect, my reasons are:
- Some of the providers are opting for different technologies like VDSL which I very much doubt NTC would be interested due to the low profit margins.
- Of the providers that will offer fixed wireless, I would assume NTC is targeting the larger providers. If you refer to the Connect America Fund homepage (https://www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/connecting-america) you will see the size of some of the recipients are too small for NTC to bother with.
- NTC is yet to win a significant contract on foreign soil.

I am yet to see any announcements from any of the carriers.
