Nasty business, times like this I am glad I use stop losses. Funny thing is I nearly shorted FGE on the poor macro outlook and price action post managing director agm presentation, but that $1b+ project win recently kept me out of it, shame.... Once again the hat goes to Camden. Bad luck holders :( I went through some recent carnage having been caught in bad news, ie MMS, its a horrible feeling all you can do is take it on the chin and move on. In order to cope with the loss I actually pencil down a severe discount to the market price ie assume the worst, in my daily spreadsheet that tracks my performance. In MMS's case I assumed a price of 0. It meant on paper I took a massive loss, but I used that value as my base for continued trading. When they come back on market anything above 0 feels like a win then. Its convoluted I know, but turns a bad situation into a good one, and helps me get on with the game. Good luck to any holders out there.
