It would be interesting to know what the make up of the "road chemicals" are.
My thoughts were more around the use of edencrete in concrete pours on industrial/chemical sites. It would involve contact with Acidic solutions or hydrocarbons(oils/fuels/refrigerants).
Currently on projects we have to use costly protective coatings over the concrete (around AU$180 -$250 per square metre) to protect the concrete from chemical attack.
Even if there was a minor resistance to >pH3 the savings on the finished slab could be large.
