P/E is now ~8 to a two mine top end mid-tier. dividend yield 3.41%, so might not get there. in any case it hardly matters at these prices, whether it's $2 or $1.81, once the sentiment changes. with the US Fed backed into a corner on inflation response and the PRC, gold should do well are real yields on T-10yr are expected to fall now. US$ FX risk is moderate I would have thought, as they will have to keep printing to counter the China risk.
