Julia.. also as to your 3 options. Have you considered that stage 2 is fully funded and even the kilns have been ordered. Lets just say Malaysia kicks LYC out, LYC has the money, the technology, the people, the backing and other components already to go. All Lyc has to do is find another location, (already has approval in AUS) and they can have another lamp up and running in maybe a year?.
Then there would be the Multi Billion dollar windfall from Malaysia law suit covering lost profits costs etc etc.
Short term maybe down but long term still rosy.
