I would consider getting one as well.
However my issue would be (being in Victoria) finding an electricity company that will actually refund me on a 1 for 1 basis, for the electricity that I'm putting back into the grid. Wouldn't expect the 60c+ that Solar would get but even a credit 1 for 1 and a refund of the balance at the same price per KW would be appropriate.
I would definately shop around and research prices with your electricity suppliers before purchasing a unit. Also I would like to know what the ongoing costs are.
