Very good question - no one wants to get taken out at these levels - may be that is the play the shorters keep selling - then Private Equity or a firm come in to mop up cheap shares with a takeover bid

The problem is existing shareholders lose ( if bought at higher levels) if it is pitched when prices have come off so much /

I have seen that many times before on the ASX and offshore

I am not sure what price for bid - but their issue price was a $1 - yet technically looks like the sellers shorters want be content until the share price gets hammered to 50 cents
it makes the stock extremely cheap when revenue is still 180M USD per year with no debt - and their market share was the same last year even with all the negative press around the drug.
