Доверяй, но проверяй (phonetic pronunciation: Doveryay, no proveryay, its an old Russian proverb meaning 'Trust but Verify' ).
The phrase became internationally known in English after Suzanne Massie, an American scholar, taught it to Ronald Reagan, who used it on several occasions in the context of disamament discussions with the Soviet Union.
When it comes to stockmarket stuff, this is basically rule#1 in my amateur investment approach...trust but verify everything a company says its doing...lol....
