In addition to what TotokaK and JeffandSal said....you need to think beyond AU shores + include private enterprise into the thinking mix.

eg: Rio Tinto has been doing rapid tests on its FIFO workers (using a TGA approved) for months now (50k+ tests completed just for this single company staff). It didn't wait for a govnt mandate to do this though it would certainly have worked with/informed the WA govnt of its plans & got tacit approval.

eg: the UK airports info I posted earlier...yes its govnt mandated now..but in reality it would be the airlines/travel industries pushing to adopt new mechanisms/timelines/tiered pricing to get travellers back on board. Several EU region airports have been trialling the consumer paid test idea for months now

Then you have the cruise industry, EU companies that work across borders, essential workplaces in high infection regions, internationally staffed companies like oil, gas, exploration, surveying, international medical teams, aged care, private healthcare, shipping industry, airline staff etc etc...the market is thus not just the regular family travellers (which is v low figures now and futurewise a larger market) but the professional workers that criss-cross the globe regularly (and need to do their work even without vaccines as they keep the global pipelines actually alive)....

As others have said, its not just AT1's market to win.the competition is stiff and no doubt pricing + availability + accuracy + ease of use will drive take-up in each industry. The beauty of providing the devices (at least in the large geos) is that AT1's partners do the marketing/logistics etc. No cost to AT1 other than device supply. Down the track, when AT1 is larger, as its more recognised as the manufacturer, it might direct market its potential.

If you look at AT1's partners + test make-up to date....its going for self-test options (where feasible) + professional use versions. So when they say 'aged care' or 'airports' in Australia/elsewhere...its not just govnt funding/purchases, its also all the private owned enterprises that will push for their unique testing needs to be met (with or without govnt take-up of the same tests).
