If I had HIV, and wanted to know if it could be detected, it may be convenient to have a self-test.
But I'm not a doctor, I have no idea if this is how HIV positive people feel about it.

I'm not drinking cool aid here. I think that on the international level, what's to stop some chinese company flooding the developing nations with cheap HIV tests?
There are a number of risks here and questions. But, in so far as the Australian HIV market is concerned, 2.5 million in sales for the first year, in combination with Febridx, covid and OEM seems reasonable profit. It is a small cap company.
