Role description
A newly developed role in the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineer will be accountable for the end-to-end manufacturing process, ensuring new products, equipment and processes are developed and delivered to production on time.

We are looking for someone who will work collaboratively to improve time to market for new products and services, efficiencies in cross-functional processes, and supply chain through digitization and automation increasing value add for our customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the Manufacturing XFT to ensure the right focus on technology development and risk management, staying abreast of issues within Operations that may affect delivery of the project.
Identify, develop, and implement new production processes, suppliers, equipment, and technologies to meet current and future project requirements for volume, cost, and quality.
Ensure that regular DFM/DFA reviews are conducted in conjunction with the Product development lead to ensure accountability for robust design.
Engage internal and external suppliers to understand project risk, developing contingencies, tracking milestones, and delivering project outcomes on time.
Interface with other project stakeholders to ensure overall project objectives are achieved.
Identify & implement GMP, Six-Sigma LEAN improvements and ensure future manufacturing methods and materials align with these principles.
