So much is still unknown about the virus and vaccination efficacy. Some vaccines are purported to reduce transmission, whereas others are purported to stop people becoming ill, but not necessarily impact transmission. Rapid testing (particularly antigen) will still have a role to play until herd immunity can be achieved over years of vaccination....if indeed we do achieve it. For high risk industries and travel, it may not be enough to be vaccinated if one can still carry and transmit. The conspiracy theories floating around take statistics completely out of context and over simplify our understanding to the black and white.
