This story is un-related to AT1 products or its partner's products...however very interesting to see how the University of San Diego has implemented an improved, mandatory, individually managed, self-testing regime on-campus...and which has resulted in very low infection numbers + rapid control results.

- Previously, campus students needed a nurse appt to get tested, resulting in long delays + friction for daily testing requirements. Now, with 11+ vending machines, kits are self-obtained, taken home, samples returned to drop boxes (within 72hours) and results provided to individual student portal.

- (daily) users need to download UC San Diego app to scan the test kit barcode + receive results directly to their phone (same day/overnight).

- any positive tests results automatically engage uni contact tracing team + patients are then given further testing/quarantine support

- uni also has a 'COVID-19 Daily Dashboard' updated with test numbers, overall results/infection status etc from campus + local community Health Services.
