I think no one really knows WHEN a person is infectious. The science on the PCR tests are that 90% of positives are NOT infectious. I do not know if that means 90% were caught pre-infectious-ness. I just do not know.
But what I do not understand is PCR tests taking DAYS to come back. I noted some real life examples. Also, the only way to really stamp this out is to test an entire population. But we hear the incubation time is up to 14 days. So do we lock down the entire country for 14 days. But then you cannot let people go out to work or to get food, because you have no guarantee the virus did not 'get out'... similar to how cleaners 'get it'.
I think the responses of govt are that they need more than the ONE TOOL - complete lockdown (because they dont completely lockdown) and PCR tests only (because they dont test everyone).
