think you are forgetting the point of AT1's biz model - make POCTs easier to use, smaller, less steps, more safe + most importantly 'self-test' ability so anyone (trained/un-trained) can do it. Too many test stages to manage-oversee-handle will just devolve back into other complex test types

I think you might mean more complex tests maybe for larger batches or complex testing (like process involving multiple stages?)..there is always going to a need for lab/mobile lab tech for multi-stage stuff....space already has strong dev compeition to bring down lab science size into smaller lab kits, get away from centriuges etc whenever possible, though there will always be a need for proper labs

(eg: the real time Covid19 PCR tests that are trying to get to same accuracy % as lab PCR tests...doing real-time PCR is already been a big leap forward in lab level portable tech + capacity build in the world)
