No, its a real picture. Lumos is a diagnostics developer in its own right, right? .that was the point of the Lumos + RPS merger couple years ago..each contributed its IP to FebriDx + the Leelu readers, flu tests etc. RPS had FebriDx IP, Lumos had diagnostic devices/eReaders IP and US manufacturing site.
This is not new info..their site has shown their product range from the start. And yes, its going to be very challenging for Lumos to start their 3-4yr FebriDx approval journey all over again with new base kit (even their own)...because of so many trials + geo approvals are now tied to Lumos+AT1 combined kit.
What we should see in CY21 is a long term supply contract with annual qtys, termination conditions+penalties, renewal timelines etc tying both AT1 + Lumos closer together. Once US FDA approval is achieved, final + largest geo, both companies will want to ensure that the other doesn't go their own way as both companies have put in lots of dev + trial work for years now on FebriDx
