So apart from the potential economic benefit (i.e lower remediation. recovery of water etc) a big advantage of the ATA technology should be "safety". Most of you will appreciate the terrible mess that the failure some years ago of the iron ore tailings dams in Brazil caused - I understand the mess, disruption and loss of life was greater than Chernobyl.
