ATC Chart, page-210

I’m not a chartist either, but have spent many (100s) of hours analysing historical performance data on non-finance industry data.
On 26/4/2016 the ATC SP closed @ 8.3c. I assume the ‘gap’ you refer relates to this.

When looking at historical performance between two dates you need to look at what changed in the intervening period.
The Altech of today is not the one of 2.5 years ago. It has been transformed too much by progress to statistically invalidate any reasonable comparison and prediction of how the market will react.
If the ‘gap’ closes and the SP falls lower, then the next lowest point was 4.5c on 5/6/2015 and people will be talking about that…… nonsense IMHO.
I believe charting can be of great value, but more so for revenue producing companies or developing companies like Altech but over shorter time frames.
