Until this week I was a holder of both ATC and ADN...
IMO downramping one stock does not make another fly and it seems to be a waste of time. Both stocks have their merits and risks. I share this because a mellow friend (who at times has posted quality on this forum) is being rather unkind over at ADN as Roger is pointing out.

I found ATC through holding another stock that also has relationships with SMS group & Kfw and holds process patents. IMO Its a good story and I really hope it gets up and going. It seems as though it will. I thank the quality posters on the ATC forum for my education. For me the big questions are around Mezz finance. It has been all too quite on an update... As happens when CAPEX is large, the financiers tend to control the game and use time as a weapon to get the best deal or even some form of control of the business. Is that what is happening with the recent 49% potential sale of the project? I think in the long run (2-3 years) it will make money for SHs. How much? is the question.
I found ADN because I held ATC. Someone posted an article on a comparison of all things HPA in Aust. From memory it compared about 5 or 6 companies. So I thank ATC forum for that knowledge. I started buying ADN in May this year and gained confidence quickly from some of the quality posters on that forum and some research I have done. It too has been a great education for me.
ADN happened to be oversold this week and IMO ATC has some delays around finance and dilution. I therefore sold the ATC to load up again... For the record we got out of ATC in the green.
IMO both stocks have different journeys and paths to revenue. As to the next 2-3 years, ATC is targeting HPA and has off takes and is moving to production. ADN on the other hand can make good revenue just from the ceramics industry alone. Over the next 2-3 years it is unlikely any HPA will be produced by ADN because permits are yet to be applied let alone issued for any mining. (watch this space) Given a unique quality of the Halloysite Kaolin Clay at ADN there are many other potential uses for the product with potentially higher revenue than HPA. So it is possible the companies wont even compete in the same space!
In life, things are either a success or they become an education.
Of course there are varying degrees of success...
