Not sure its relevant to the ATC thread, but this is obviously nonsense. Sure, the Fraunhofer Institute has been called after Joseph von Fraunhofer, but they don't date back to him. Joseph von Fraunhofer died (as you stated yourself) in 1826, while the Fraunhofer Institute has been founded in 1949. Quite a large gap, isn't it?
