The study confirms the great economic potential of the technology, which offers a sustainable energy storage solution with sodium solid-state batteries, particularly for grid operators. Together with Altech Batteries Limited, we are bringing the sodium battery to the market in the joint venture "Altech Batteries GmbH". Dr Matthias Schulz and his team provided the technological expertise for the study, carried out preliminary tests and advised on the scale-up.With forecast growth of 28 per cent, the development of the grid storage market is extremely dynamic.
