I was absolutely gobsmacked when I watched the ********* video yesterday whereby Ignatius Tan shouted from the treetops that ATC would be the lowest cost HPA producer. So I just did a little digging this evening and as per ASX announcements - ATC is in fact has the highest OPEX.
ATC capex US$298m, opex US$9,900, output 4,500tpa
FYI capex US$179m, opex US$6,217 output 8,000tpa
A4N capex US$209m, opex US$5,940 (after by-products) output 10,000tpa
opex US$8,730 (HPA only)
ATC has assumed a much higher HPA price of US$26,900 in their FIDS. The HPA price is US$ 33.72/kg in year 1, reducing to US$ 26.18/kg in year 9 and maintained at this level until year 30. This results in a weighted average HPA price of US$26.90/kg over the 30-year project.
Compare this to FYI which used a very conservative $USD$24,000 and A4N USD$25,000
