Meeting between ATEC Limited and China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC)


On 7 May, 2009 CRCC’s President Zhao Quangfa met with ATEC’s Chairman Everald Compton, and CEO, John Balassis in Beijing. The meetings over a few days progressed the already positive discussions between CRCC and ATEC to cooperate to develop the Australian Market. Positive discussions are now in progress about the form this cooperation may take.
CRCC’s International Business and Capital Operation Departments participated in the meetings and discussions.

CRCC is one the largest multiple construction corporations in China. It is ranked amongst the top 500 top enterprises in the world and spans operations over 50 countries and regions of the world. The business of CRCC includes project contracting, survey, design, industrial manufacturing, capital operations and logistics.

ATEC is in discussion with CRCC about its portfolio of rail infrastructure projects, which include Border Railway, Surat Basin Railway, Wonarah Railway, Northern Mineral Railway and intermodal freight interests
