Yes he did jim, and I had a feeling that by quoting Einstein, someone would post that as a rebuttal. I said in my post that religion is only one way to realise god, not the only way. Some achieve it through their work, some through meditation or service to others.

I'm not necessarily pro-religion, but at its core (unperverted) it is a useful tool I believe.

Some people on here think that the old-school Catholic 'fire and brimstone' approach is what religion is. Sitting under a tree can be a religion if it gets you closer to god.
