I was talking to a mate of mine who is quite a devout christian, and he was saying that the tithe they pay, is 10% of their income. So I grabbed my previous year's ledger and Tax return, and did some quick figures. It turned out that I was, unwittingly, giving exactly 10% of my income to various charities. Maybe it is something which is programmed into us. (like a basic instinct) (Charities = PCYC; SLSA; NDA; Hearrt Foundation; etc) Non denominational, all of them.
I also try, occasionally, to perform random acts of mindless kindness. I usually do it in my normal clothes, because I don't wish to make a habit out of it. ($h1t pun there).
