I think it's fair to say that certain books which the Bible composite were inspired. How well they have stood the test of time and the tinkering at the edges is unknown.
As for placing ALL YOUR FAITH, Sola fide. I would suggest that your "Faith" is none other than all your "hopes" because real faith would never declare itself and would be recognised in the actions of faith that it produced. Faith is the actions derived from belief. Today of course it's seen as unquestionable belief in religious fundamental belief.
It doesn't matter if you believe Christ is the Creator. It's what comes from that belief that counts. No belief is worth anything unless it causes an action that benefits somebody other than yourself.
So maybe you're right. Maybe you have placed yourself in a fundamentalist straight-jacket, so it's probably best if you don't encourage others to fall into the same trap.
