    From BAU qtr report their current JORC resource quality is;

    31.6% Av Al2O3, 3.2% reactive Silica

    CBX target resource,

    41.6 Av Al2O3, 7.4% reactive Silica

    From ATI recent update on sample results;

    43.95% Av Al2O3, 1.5% reactive Silica

    Ok, firstly i know im comparing JORC figures with ATI initial sampling results which i dont normally do for clear reasons, however this is to show the possible quality difference between ATI and others on the asx.

    The higher the available Al2O3 and lower reactive silica from bauxite reduces the waste and increases the efficiency of converting bauxite to Al metal. Because of the higher intesity of the Al smelting process compared to say copper smelting I suspect this cost reduction would be more significant from higher quality bauxite feeds.

    Thus if ATI could match the sample grades with drilling (or other previous work...) then their potential resource must be in demand for development to lower Al smelting costs and production. Here in lies the potential of ATI to develop and low cost high quality operation next door to the worlds largest Al smelting country.
