You know market sentiment is attrocious when you control $2 Billion of gold and the market values you at $20 Million.

Atlantic Gold is very close to announcing a major milestone with the Titles for the Touquoy Project likely to be resolved by the end of January.

The negative sentiment has been beyond comprehension and with no basis but the flipside is that things can turn on a dime and the gold price is certainly looking like it wants to move much higher and could easily fly through $2000 in short order once momentum really picks up.

The volume on offer in ATV has really dried up and it wont take very much to get this stock moving upwards in a major way.

It looks like a few tentative nibbles are being made already and long suffering ATV shareholders should be well rewarded this year.

The catalyst could be a number of things with a strongly rising gold price improving the sentiment and the icing on the cake being the announcements firstly that the titles have been secured followed by the final mining industrial permits being granted and then financing confirmed which should all happen this year and a lot of issues will be resolved in the first half so now is the time to get yourself set if you haven't already.

Wally Bucknell is a big picture player and things have been approached in a very methodical way and whilst progress has been relatively slow to date there is a distinct strategy in play and the delays to date have actually worked in investors favour because the value of the gold in the ground has risen substantially which ultimately will provide richer returns for investors.
