I merely asked Touquoy on what basis the time estimate was. Its clear its a verbal commitment originating from who knows where, nothing more. I can visualise it now:
Wally:"So, when do you think you can get this issue through the department?"
GovNut:"Oh, I reckon we should have it cleared up by January, give or take. The land titles guy who was on it is now on long service leave, but his stand-in, Bob, has the file and will be working the issue when he gets back from Chrissie break on the 16th. So, yeah, January is a realistic number."
