I think with the market volatility this allows everyone a better chance.
Ive seen a company on the ASX extend options by 2 years in a type of loan where you pay interest on the loan (Value of shares x the sp at the time of starting the loan) and buy them out at the end of the period Or they have the choice of not paying any interest and let the interest owed come off at the end...
Brilliant system and I used it twice.
