I must correct myself. I have misread the company's previous statements. The article is correct. AGO is on track to produce at a 'rate of 6mil tonnes p/a' from Dec 2010 onwards. It doesn't say how much ore they expect to produce this calendar year.

But from reading the last qtrly production figures yeah... there is no way they are going to produce 6mil this year.
