Just saw this article and supporting video which aired on GMA. Certainly paints a picture about how the future will look. They mention cornea scans but i'm sure they're simply referring to the IRIS. Looked up their patent here and a couple of mentions of cornea but certainly no mention of corneal topography.

In the article they say that the iris is "the second most reliable marker in your body behind the DNA". They also mention at the end of the video that there is no set launch date for this technology as Citibank say they need to get it right before it launches. Let eyelock do the ground work and we can come through with a better solution, maybe even pioneered within China first. I can't wait for the Purdue results to come through so we can shake things up a little! DYOR
