I don't pay any attention to the NZ price because ASX always governs.
Having said that, I have never seen the ATM price up over 7% with no company announcements even on small volume.
If the strategy day is tomorrow, today would be last day to cover for the shorts that are concerned it could contain positive news. I can't think of any other reason for the SP movement today because it has never happened before.
