Interesting that Atomic is missing, In last years **S craft beer awards Atomic achieved No 35 in the top 100 beers, but there is a bit of restructuring planned.
At the AGM John Hoedemaker said that most of their beers sold within proximity to the coast ( as seen by the branding, beach themed) the Atomic Pale Ale had a different demographic and was the popular beer inland in Queensland and NSW, this being the case it was being shuffled into a different grouping.
Another interesting comment was Queenslanders loved Matso's beers. I suppose its because of the similar climate to its origin in Broome where the spicy ginger flavors are preferred. As a result of this Gage are targeting this area with marketing in an effort to grow sales to at least the same volume sold in WA which potentially should add another $2 mill profit per year.
