If one believes the view of insiders that pearl prices will stay elevated while the supply shortage remains, ATP has suddenly been transformed into a tech-like stock deserving of a high P/E ratio, reflecting its forward cash generating powers. I hope I’m not being unduly optimistic in saying A$50-60mn still looks very cheap, on a forward looking analysis. And if investors want to buy in to this story, there’s only one stock available. Are there any other listed pearl farmers worldwide??
