The website has posted the first 2024 Kobe/online auction taking place in w/c 15 April. That’s a month later than this year, suggesting it could be another bumper auction - it will be around 20 weeks after the November auction. It’s possible this signals a move to even fewer auctions per annum. In the past, regular auctions were needed to pay the bills. Now, with strong cash reserves, management may have decided that running fewer auctions is more efficient - we’ve already seen the number being reduced in 2023.
