Does anyone know when the pearls for sale in the Bali/online auction are likely to appear on the Atlas Pearls trade website? They’ve been categorized as low grade, so obviously not like-for-like with the previous Kobe auction. Some people have said the company is planning to sell about 550k pearls this year, as per the previous year. I think they’ve said they’ll produce that many, but sales volumes will be dependent on the timing of auctions. Without another auction in late June, the company will probably sell less and carry forward more inventory into next year.
