    It’s at times like this when I can understand why management took the opportunity to scale back on its reporting to market. Retail investors are notoriously bad at interpreting data or “looking through” an event like the last announcement.

    Those who are selling are likely to have bought or averaged in at higher levels than now. I understand their frustration but believe they are in the classic investor psychology cycle of buy high sell low. Panic selling on result makes little sense while the supply/demand of the pearl market remains tight.

    If management reported nothing and we relied solely on an annual report we would all be happy. On dividends alone it will not take long to be free carried.
