The company has been at it for 7 years now, and from what I hear from industry members, the quality is on par with other producers. The waters of Myanmar are largely untainted, hence the general beauty/quality of pearls from there. I hear that traders with a large stock of white South Sea pearls are actually quite nervous about the increasing quantity of white pearls offered for sale every season, putting downward pressure on prices. If the pearls are marketed properly (without breaking the market) by responsible, patient producers, prices can be sustained. It's hard to do that when multiple jurisdictions/producers are involved, however. Anyway, I am just commenting on the product, not the fundamentals of ATP as a company or its stock price.
