It may hold its perceived value due to “shortage,” but the transaction volume has shrunk. Also, none of the old-time wholesalers ever agreed with the “new” pricing in the last 3 years. They were trading only because the market was hot with many inexperienced newcomers trying to get in on the trade, and everything had a market—but only in China. If the Chinese market can be sustained, even say 30% off ATH prices, it would be okay, but the rest of the world has largely shunned dealing with the product unless it’s 2019 pricing. Perhaps we are in a bit of a cooling period, and one can only hope China can continue with its consumption and innovative marketing techniques.
