These are all interesting points and thank you for contributing to the discussion. It is certainly helpful to consider some of the risks involved with this investment.
One piece of information that speaks volumes is the director buying $50k worth of shares at 9.9c last week. You would imagine that they would know as much about the supply and demand for pearls as anyone at this point in time. So that gives me a fair degree of confidence in the valuation of the company at the moment.
As we know, there are so many factors that will impact ATP's profitability over the medium to long term, with the price of pearls just being one of them. I still remain confident that management are doing a really great job here and that the company can continue to keep making impressive profits, even if the price of pearls continues to drift lower. Results from today's auction will be very interesting indeed. Hopefully they've taken lots of the high-quality pearls with them! GLTAH
