Six local residents have been found dead in a basement in the village of Shevchenkove, Brovary District, Kyiv Region. Reportedly, they were shot by the Russian military.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.Brovary District Prosecutor’s Office is providing procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings for the violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation findings, having temporarily seized the village of Shevchenkove, the Russian military were killings civilians. In a basement located within one of private households, six bodies with gunshot wounds were found.
