Have held for a few years now also, since 2019. Have accumulated during covid when the core focus was partnering - I'm not sure there's been a super long period where macroeconomic environment was advantageous enough, perhaps only a small period where oil prices were +$100.
Outside of that, focus has been on shareholder return since covid. That tide is starting to change but all your investment calcs are going to be based on relatively high interest rates and debt is no longer cheap.
The narrative of ATS drilling in the TMS hasn't helped but hoping the PE investment recently will change that.
There's hope but stars have to align, at this stage I still remain positive but realistic.
