Oddly enough I don't feel as though the high oil price was helping ATS get a deal. As many noted at the time, increasing production was not a priority then. The US's massive production now may be more beneficial for Australis since every barrel pumped elsewhere makes their reserves look more attractive.

Very good points and I'm off the same mindset on terms of acquiring when I can. I also don't think fair price is reflected in current price.
