If the deep water (300-3000m) drilling shuts down in the GOM it will not impact the NMS operations in the GOM region which are primarily air diving (less than 50m) focused. We could be asked to clean, inspect and conduct generalised in water maintenance on these huge and expensive rigs but more than likely the owners would want them working else where in the world.

Just like NMS and our vessels, we don't like them idle, it cost a lot of money not having them work.

Riddle me this...Never got an answer from any of the faithful in the know, why did we hire the MV Day Tide for the Conoco work when our vessel the ROV Supporter was idle in Singapore??? The big press release last year was the big costly refit to get it up to standard to work in Australia...
