    I think the buyer(s) will be someone or an institution who can easily convert the CDIs into the common stocks. And if I understand it correctly if the CDIs are not sold by the end date on ASX, then they have to be converted into common stock and sold in the US exchange.

    "Is the company that is cancelling the CDIs the market buyer?"

    I read in the thread there someone said that Charles bought a lot of shares. And I noticed the the CEO's name is Charles or Charlie ... (I can't remember the surname).

    Your questions made me check what happened to SZL sp when the company announced quiting ASX. And have a look:

    On the day of the announcement was released the sp tumbled.

    That gives us an idea of what can happen if the merger proceeds and one day the NewCo decides to quit ASX.

    The reason given is similar to what I quoted from the Scheme Booklet:

    "Sezzle has concluded that the financial, administrative and compliance obligations and costs associated with maintaining an ASX listing are no longer justifiable."
