attack by innuendo

Without wishing to come out either for or against Kevin Nichol's case for election to the BWN board, I consider it rather deplorable that all the current directors have seen fit to attack him by innuendo in the documentation I have just received for the meeting on June 22nd.

They are suggesting he brought the company to a state of financial fragility (Stuart & Sheppard).

The Bhushan nominees on the Board have suggested Nichol should explain the circumstances surrounding his resignation and if he doesn't then they need to consider whether they should disclose those circumstances.

Why can't all these guys be upfront and tell us their concerns? Are they afraid of being sued for libel or defamation ? If they think he has done something that makes him unfit to be a company director shouldn't they tell us explicitly why - that would be far more convincing than their innuendo.

If he really has done something to make him unfit to be a company director, then shouldn't they tell ASIC and have him barred from election. They referred proposed resolution 9 to ASIC then deleted it. If they really believed they had something serious on Nichol then why didn't they refer resolution 7 (Nichol's election) to ASIC at the same time and get him removed as a candidate.

At the moment this looks like a smear campaign.
