I agree.
Let's look at a simple view of the array of options that are possible for the RBL share price:
- Rows represent the FY21 marketplace revenue forecast ($M AUD)
- Columns represent the revenue multiple (PSR)
- Cells represent the corresponding RBL share price associated with that level of revenue and multiple
This leads us to a range of possible share price valuations, noting that there are 271.48M shares on issue. I.e. FY21 revenue estimate ($M) x Revenue Multiple / SOI (M) = Share Price ($)
A fair question to ask might be, what is the fairest revenue multiple for RBL?
- Etsy trades on a TTM revenue multiple of ~13x
- Kogan trades on a FY20 revenue multiple of ~4.2x
- CAR trades on a FY20 revenue multiple of ~12x
- SEEK trades on a FY20 revenue multiple of ~5.3x
I have highlighted in green the options that I think are most likely outcomes for RBL over the next 6-12 months.
I am buying at these levels - RBL is now the largest holding in my portfolio.
