Brainy, let's start with the obvious, which is why would you pay 10.5c for something when you can get it for 10c......

Now, the reason why your scenario would be BAD is that if all 10c buyers upped their bid to 10.5c, wiped out the line, and there was no more buying pressure (more bids at 10.5 and 11c), then the share price would be left with no support. Remember, we have a brick wall all the way to 11.5/12c to get through. If you look at the buying depth, you would see that it would likely fall to 9.5c. So, the 3million odd units at 10c is providing a support base for the 10.5c level to be chomped away at. We just need to hope that either more buyers come in at 10.5c, or sellers pull their orders.
