To do a production log they will need a well test spread at surface. They will with run a MDT like suite of tools and if results are positive they will do a full well test. Typically on a well of this nature, the test kit will be on standby and as soon as they run the logs and have inidcations of hydrocarbons they will then make a decision to mobilise. If they have solid hyrdocarbon indications they will test.
